As the new session begins DU encounters a yet another journey of college life. The freshers are feeling overwhelmed with their new found freedom, the 2nd years are enjoying their senior-hood and the 3rd years are feeling jittery as there college days would be ending soon and so they need to figure out what they have to do next...
But besides all this it’s time to celebrate the new session with zeal. So why not begin with the season which changes a great deal the entire atmosphere of the colleges? At this time of the year it’s the monsoons which are enjoyed by a majority of people. Who doesn’t want to get drenched in the rain, cracking jokes and laughing all the while????
During monsoons there is a greater possibility for classes to get cancelled. So it is a boon for students since they get plenty of time to hangout at their favourite places. It’s the best time to gorge on and savour hot Maggie, mouth-watering momos and sumptuous kathi rolls. For the fashionistas it is the time to take out their fancy rubber slippers from their wardrobe and flaunt them in college. In the basketball courts and the football grounds boys would be seen playing to their heart’s content. All in all it’s a season to enjoy with friends as these days, when one can enjoy this bounty of nature aplenty without any worries, will never come back. So cherish every moment n your college and live life to the fullest.
